Return and Exchange Policy


In-Store Purchases

For in-store purchases, we have a merchandise exchange policy only within 30 days of purchase.  Merchandise can be exchanged for merchandise of equal or greater value or you may request a store credit.  Merchandise must be unworn with original packaging and receipt. ALL SALES ARE FINAL ON BEACH TOWELS, CLOTHING, AND HATS. 

Online/Phone Purchases

For merchandise purchased online, you must notify us via email at info@shopgildedglitz.com within seven days of receipt of merchandise that you would like to return or exchange the merchandise.  Merchandise must be unworn with original packaging and receipt.

Discounted or Promotional Merchandise

For both online and in-store purchases, merchandise purchased at a discount or in conjunction with a promotion cannot be exchanged or returned for any reason.

Damaged Merchandise

We will replace merchandise within 30 days of purchase in the event of a manufacturing defect as long as the damage is not the result of a failure to properly care for the merchandise.  We provide cleaning and care instructions with every purchase.

Returning Merchandise

You must contact us via email at info@shopgildedglitz.com to obtain your return authorization number prior to returning merchandise.  You must include the following in your email:

  • Name, address, phone number
  • A copy of the original receipt or the receipt/order number.
  • Reason for return

Any merchandise returned without a return authorization number will be returned to the sender.

Once you receive your return authorization number,  ship the package to 61 South Market St., Charleston, S.C. 29401.  Please clearly print your return authorization number on the outside of the package.  We will process your return within 14 days.

Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer.  Please make sure to add tracking and insurance to your package, as we are not responsible for lost packages.

We reserve the right to cancel any order up to the point of delivery.
